AdultEd

Sundays, 9:50am (during Education Hour)

AdultEd is a training ground for followers of Jesus, with various offerings on Biblical, doctrinal and social issues. We use the Bible, study guides, video clips, discussion groups, and guest speakers to help us explore our subjects. Teachers are pastors, teaching elders, guests from local seminaries, subject matter experts, and authors. Through teaching and discussion, New Life’s AdultEd effort seeks to reach and transform our adult members of New Life and friends, shaping who we are, how we think, and what we do to increasingly reflect our identity as those who trust and embody Jesus.

AdultEd meets during the Education Hour in between the two services, in various rooms in our facility. Evening classes are available periodically. For more information, please see the weekly bulletin or the Sunday information page.

Mission: How Jesus Trained His Disciples to Do More Than Learn

This is the 13th of 16 sermons in our series, “Jesus for Skeptics, Beginners, and Strugglers.” After the resurrection, what’s next? What did Jesus say would happen? Today’s answer is mission, for which he had been preparing his disciples all along.

Scripture References: Luke 24:13-32

From Series: "Jesus for Skeptics, Beginners, and Strugglers"

The concerns of each of these groups will be addressed in every sermon, connecting Jesus' life with your own.
